Applications

For oil, petroleum, water (widely used in offshore rig operations by oil companies), volatile fluids, abrasives and dry products.

Advantages

Nipples are designed to eliminate the need for enlarged or cuffed hose ends, since the hose stem is swaged to suit the respective Hose I.D. size. The hose stem is multiserrated and correctly profiled for secure hose grip when effectively clamped. Nipples are free from lugs or projections into which can be threaded a wide variety of coupling types which can easily be replaced when damaged without disturbing the hose end.
