Guillemin-Symetrique Couplings

A coupling system in which both halves are identical. Couplings have locking rings to connect and secure the other half. This is the French standard tanker connection.

How it Works

The coupling is connected by simply putting the two halves together and turning a tapered locking ring which tightens into a tapered channel on the other half of the coupling making a tight, secure connection. Couplings can be connected by hand or with the aid of spanners designed for the purpose.

The standard coupling material is Aluminium with Nitrile Rubber seal.

The coupling is also available in Brass and Stainless Steel and optional seal materials in white EPDM, Viton and PTFE are also available.

Threaded couplings are available without the lock ring, but a lock ring must be present on at least one half to enable the connection.
