An American style quick action compressed air safety coupling. The Universal coupling is also known as 'Air King', 'Chicago Type', 'Lindy' and 'Crows-foot' which are all interchangable.The locking head conforms to the American standard design and incorporates a special pin lock safety feature with pin holes on each side of the locking head. The pin holes line up, enabling positive locking and prevent accidental disconnection. A security collar is on the hose stem enabling use of our HP clamps to prevent hose 'blow off'' This 1/2" female claw coupling is manufactured in malleable iron with a zinc plated finish, and features a working pressure to 10 bar and NPT thread.
