Teflon® Encapsulated Cam Gaskets combine the benefits of a Viton® or Silicone Elastomeric Rubber with the chemical resistance and mechanical properties of Teflon® FEP/PFA polymer. The result being a chemical inert and assured Cam Gasket seal. This 1/2" fully encapsulated camlock gasket offers a far superior performance to solid PTFE cam gaskets that routinely suffer from 'Compression Set and Cold-flow'.

Special Features

Combines the benefits of a Viton or Silicone Elastomeric Rubber with the chemical resistance and mechanical properties of Teflon FEP/PFA polymer. Withstands temperature range of -60ºC to +205ºC, making the gasket the most volatile media. Meets FDA, Sanitary 3A and USP Class VI requirements and certifications.

Applications

Encapsulated Cam Caskets are an inexspensive solution to any critical sealing applications such as: mechanical seals, filters, filter driers, autoclaves, cryogenics, valves, compressors, and especially hose couplings such as Camlocks and, Kamlock®.
