Action Sealtite’s origins are based in the merger of two well-established companies, Action Hose Couplings, founded in 1977 and formerly a member of the Aliaxis group of companies and Seal-Tite Products, founded in 1982 and a member of the Flowmax group of companies. Action-Sealtite continues to be a member of the Flowmax group.
The objective of the merged company is to be a market leader in the hose and couplings industry, offering a full range of high quality Camlock Fittings, IBC Fittings, Quick Release Couplings, Dry Break Couplings (including Dry Link & TODO) and Industrial Hose Assemblies for all major industrial applications including the chemical, pharmaceutical, nuclear and food & beverage sectors from its base in Didcot, Oxfordshire, U.K.
In 2021, Action Sealtite acquired Buckley Industrial to further develop and support its hose assembly offering. Specialising in the manufacture, inspection and testing of flexible hose assemblies for the power generation, chemical, food processing, paper and petro-chemical industries, Buckley can now combine its own hose management and testing services with Action Sealtite’s market-leading couplings, fittings and technical expertise.
