IBC Adaptors
The standard buttress thread output on the bottle or the valve is based on the German DIN standard DIN6131:1989. By using buttress female threaded adaptors, you can then convert any IBC valve quickly into either a cam coupling system, a threaded end or use it directly with various sized hoses. This can normally be achieved easily and with just one adaptor.

How to Select the Right Fitting
The most important step to choosing the right IBC fitting is to first measure the size of the thread on your tank’s valve. The sizes of IBC threads can be:
S60x6
S75x6
S92x4
S100x8
The size of your IBC tank’s thread will ultimately determine which fittings you can use on the tank. Be sure to bear this in mind when selecting an IBC fitting or adaptor.
Then, you must consider the attachment that will be required for your specific application. For example, using the Garden Hose IBC kit will allow you to connect your IBC tank to a standard garden hose pipe. Alternatively, using an IBC adaptor can convert the valve into various coupling or pipe systems. If you have any doubt, contact a member of our team to find out more about your requirements.
